It's been a while since I've been on this website, but I've gained some experience in my absence! I'm currently student on break from school, I'm working toward my EDC degree because I want to become a Kindergarten teacher. I love kids and I've known what I've wanted to be since I was 6 years old. That's how much of an impact my teacher had made on my life and I want to inspire a child to feel just like I did.  I recently came back from a year abroad in Holland or the Netherlands if you prefer. Where I worked as an Au Pair which is a foreign live-in Nanny. I took care of three little girls ages 3-9 and I loved them and every minute of being there. It was an experience of a lifetime. My responsibilities there was like a 3rd parent because their were days when Read more the parents didn't come home due to obligations. I prepared dinner for us(I ate with the family) 3 nights out the the week and I made the girls lunch every day as well as their breakfast and I combed their hair. It was my job to pick them up to school and make sure they got to their after school activities or playdates. And then it was my job to pick them up and bring them back home. At times it was very stressful, everything there was done by the bicycle so it was really challenging. I worked at Chuck E Cheese for 1 1/2 years as a Party Hostess and while beyond stressful was one of the funniest points of my life. I was also an after school counselor and a summer camp counselor for 2 1/2 years and in June of this year I will be taking a job as a Camp Counselor in Marin County for the summer months. So my availabilty will be non-existence then, but once I return it will be back to anytime. I'm CPR and First Aid Certified and it will expire at the end of this year which I will then get it renewed once again. I can cook, drive(even if I'm without a car I have my license and a good record!) entertain kids, run errands, and I'm pet friendly. Thank you for considering my profile! Also, one more thing I have my DMV driving record which is clean and I've been driving for 8 years and my references from the previous families I've worked with in hand.
