Aside from the fact that I have five amazing, talented, beautiful children, I have also worked at a Presbyterian Preschool for five wonderful years. This job gave me the opportunity to continue to be surrounded by children, help them grow and be an important part of their education, create bonds that I still have today that are so precious, as well as having the advantage of learning about special needs children and how vital my role in their life truly is. I've chosen caregiving because I simply love children. I love my job because its not really a job when you truly love what you do. I'm good at my job because I know how important it is to listen to the needs and wants of parents that are trying to raise good children, and how I would be looking for the same in the caring of my own children.

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.
Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
