I have been babysitting since I was 10 years old. I grew up in West Point, NY as an Army Brat. I have 7 siblings, including myself. I am the youngest daughter and have had the opportunity to participate in helping raise my nephews and nieces (15 of them). I worked at the child development center at West Point when I was in my 20's. I majored in social work and specialized in adoption. After college I became a special needs teacher and mainstreamed special needs children, in Kindergarten, in a "normal" classroom setting. I worked as a home health aide in Boston for a couple of years and came back to NY where I worked as a special needs teacher's aide for a young woman in the 10th grade who had a severe case of cerebral palsy. I also worked with troubled teens and other special needs such as Read more ADD, ADHD and Autism. I have worked in many different fields in my career and now work in sales and marketing for BAE Systems. I am a bonus mom of my husbands 2 kids and have raised 2 others. 1 boy and 3 girls. I have a love for children and would like to continue to work/care for them and with them.
