Hello! I am a Mother of two boys, ages 14 and 11, looking to supplement my income by helping out a family in need of some assistance two days a week. I apologize in advance for not having the flexibility you may be searching for but I work full time as an emergency dispatcher and have specific days off every week. I find this type of work extremely fulfilling so I would like to continue down that path and be in a position to help you with a family member or loved one. I am open to taking care of infants, children, adults of all ages as well as a family members with disabilities. My older sister has a learning disability so I grew up learning patience and kindness with a depth that I may not have truly felt without her in my life. She grew up enrolled in a Read more special education program and has the sweetest heart of anyone I have ever met. I started babysitting at a pretty young age. When I was in middle school I took care of the neighbors children so they could have a date night or make time for an appointment. I continued to watch kids throughout my teens and then took care of my infant half-sister during my early twenties so my step Mom could have time to run out and be free for whatever reason a Mother needs to be free for. Now that I have my own children I feel like an expert :) I have experience with infants, toddlers, school age children and almost a big high school-er :( I still call my boys my little babies even though they are as tall as me. I did not go to school for childcare or care giving specifically, however, I feel like I am a great fit for this position. I have raised my boys to be kind, loving and polite. I am very proud of them. If someone drops something, they will pick it up without asking. They hold doors open for anyone that may be coming or going. They have the best little manners.
