**Currently only seeking occasional or date-night families** Available to sit once weekly. I was born and raised on a cul-de-sac in Carlsbad and grew up being the youngest of three older siblings. I am a registered nurse and currently work at UCSD. I have been a nanny for over ten years and can't get away from my love of children! Over the last ten years, I have spent much of my free time babysitting. I have also worked as a camp counselor for the local YMCA for three summers. In the past, I regularly nannied for a few families. I've nannied children as young as 9 weeks old, as old as 15 years, and everything in between. I love infants and toddlers and enjoy watching their independence grow. We used Megan for a one-time sitter job while in Carlsbad for a wedding. She was prompt, personable, and had fun activities planned for our three kids. She played with the kids, bathed them, fed them, and put them to bed. I loved coming back to the hotel and seeing the project they made for us! I wish we lived local, we would definately use her again, in a heartbeat!

I recommend Megan as a babysitter! She came to help with my 21 month old son and had a great rapport with him. Megan kept him busy by playing games, reading to him and taking him for walks. Megan comes to work with my kids ready for fun. They both- one boy, one girl---look forward to seeing her. She is interactive with them, plays games and works on projects and even helps them get their homework done. We are really happy to have found Megan and think she is an excellent babysitter.
