I have been watching the younger members of my family since about 15 years old. I am now twenty and have watched kids from the ages of 4 and up. I have always been held in high regard by my family along with those I watch. My little cousins love me and love when there parents leave for the night. I have watched both boys and girls. As far as technical experience I worked as a mentor at a school for at risk youth. Many of these kids had social issues due to abuse or neglect as a child. I was able to gain experience and really learn how to interact with all types of children. I am extremely talented at getting kids to come out of there shells. The boys I worked with at this school aged from 7 to 16. As far as myself, I grew up in Read more Santa Rosa Ca where I lived with my parents and 2 older brothers. One of the reasons i love interacting with kids is because my brother watched me all the time when I was younger. Not only was he my brother, but he was my best friend a secret keeper. We did it all together, he drove me around, sang in the car, and helped me with homework. I am the person I am today because of those moments shared with my brother. I now want to share this type of bond with others. I was an athlete my whole life growing up so I know the importance of physical activity. I may be the worst artist ever but I still know the importance of self expression. The parts of the job I enjoy most are obviously the kids, homework help, playing, and teaching lessons if the opportunity arises.
