I began "professionally" babysitting at the age of 14, about 10 years ago. I became a waitress and had to cut down all of my child care hours due to the nature of my job, working at night. Now that I have found a position in an office and have my weekends and evening free, I really miss it. I especially enjoy working with younger aged children 2-10, but I am just as happy with the older kids too. I especially enjoy helping with homework and preparing simple meals with the kids. It's nice to have activities like that because it allows for me to create a routine with the child(ren), which I believe leads to trust. I'm hoping to find a family looking for a babysitter in the evenings or on the weekends as I work Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm in Walnut Creek.
