I have always loved working with kids for two specific reasons, they are brutally honest and can always make one laugh. I have been working with kids since middle school, where I worked at the Swedish School of Marin as a teaching assistant. After the school got shutdown, I began working as a lifeguard at the Marinwood Pool, the Marin Tennis Club and the YMCA. At all the pools I always got to interact and play with all the kids during my breaks. Also working as a lifeguard I have received certifications in CPR and First Aid. Additionally, I have worked several baby-sitting jobs for my parents friends. Currently I am a senior at Terra Linda High School and am within the top 9% of my class with a GPA of 4.33. I am 18 years old, and have a love for the outdoors, consistently hiking in Point Reyes National Read more Seashore and other areas around the bay. Other hobbies include skiing, surfing, and skating. I am fluent in Swedish and lived in Stockholm, Sweden for 4 years of my life. At Terra Linda High School I play Lacrosse and Waterpolo, as well as am the president of the Extreme Sports Club. Enjoying the outdoors is very important to me and I love to get kids out of the houses for adventures and activities.
