Meet Linda

  • Comfortable with pets
  • Has a car

I started baby-sitting when I was 13 years old for church members children. I raised 2 children and worked in their elementary school as a library clerk. I have had the honor to take care of 2 of my granddaughters since birth. They are now in school and I miss having babies/infants to take care of. I have since retired from a very fulfilling career at UCLA and would love to take care of little ones again. I am told my calm demeanor can develop trust with little ones. I have training as a massage therapist and took extra classes for fragile infants to volunteer at the Mattel Children's Hospital. My CPR and First Aid has lapsed but I will be renewing in the next few weeks. I have had my flu vaccination and my TB testing (negative).

Report

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
