I started caring for kids 9 years ago and have cared for variety groups of ages from newborns to 10yo, in which I'm most experience with kids 0-5yo. For the last 3.5 years, I have worked as a live-in nanny for almost 2 years, caring for 3 girls 4.5mo, 13mo and 3yo. Then I worked as full-time live-out nanny caring for a 3yo boy and a 5yo girl for few months until my nanny fam. moved out of state. Right now Im caring for a 13mo boy who was 4mo when I started, part-time caring for 2 girls 3yo and 8yo, plus weekly date night for 4 kids 1yo, 4yo, 5yo and 7yo. Further back in the past, I cared for 4 kids who were cousins for over 5 years, since 3 of them were newborn babies and 1 was toddler, until they were 10, 5, 5 and 1yo. As Read more the baby I have been cared for full-time since he's 4mo has started going to daycare, I'm looking for a new job. I'm familiar with all kid-involving tasks : cooking/meal prep (including making baby food), play with them and engage them to different activities (craft, art, music, game, imagining play, etc), pick-up after them, changing/bathing the kids, potty train, sleep train, do tummy time, massage babies, do their laundry, homework help, etc. I strongly encourage reading, I try to read for the kids for at least 20 minutes every day. I also encourage kids to interact with me and other kids. I enjoy singing, making craft, art, doing silly dance, going for long walk and playing at the park with them. I consider myself as a warm, calm and patient nanny who absolutely says no to yelling/ hitting. I use eye contact and body contact like gentle hug/ rubbing frequently, and always love sweet talk. My priority is to keep my nanny kids safe and healthy, give them 100% attention when I'm in charge, and try my best to make time enjoyable for all of us. I am CPR certified, have clear background check and update vaccinations and TB test. I'm fluent in both Vietnamese and English, got a BA in English and AA in law assistance.
