Hi I'm Julie, I'm a young caregiver looking to grow in my experience with children. I've found that I really enjoy all the great personalities in children I get to meet on a daily basis, and would love to continually be surrounded by that. I am currently employed at Jump N' Jammin, a children's entertainment center. I feel I don't get the personal experience with children as much as I would like to, so that is why I want to deepen my understanding in working with children, and grow in my experience as a caregiver. Eventually, I would love to work with autistic children. This is my first time looking to be a paid babysitter. My experience includes non-paid babysitting for relatives or close family-friends. Overall, I've had my experiences with children of all ages. My experience began with babysitting my cousin. My cousin is a special needs child who Read more has a physical disability. Tasks that were done in taking care of her included bathing her, dressing & changing her, feeding her, play & learning time, engaging in physical activities, nap time, & overall supervising her. As I said, my experience has mainly been with family or close family-friends, so feel free to ask me more about other experiences in that. My experience at my current occupation includes creating a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all children & guests. I'm also a birthday party host, it is the most personal interaction with children I get when working. As I stated, I feel I don't get the personal experience with children as much as I would like to. If you're wondering more about who I am, I would be glad to let you know! To summarize it for you, I am a very joyful, patient, and creative individual. Working with kids mostly every day can wear out on one's mood & maybe even change how you feel about kids. It's not always easy to remain positive regardless of the situations you encounter with children! But regardless of any situation with children, I believe it is important to remain positive and keep smiling! I hear joy is contagious. Patience I thankfully learned as a kid myself, and as I'm working with kids now, I'm still tested here and there. Kids require a lot of patience, but they can be so great, so I'm counting on that. Creativity is what my mother would say I "was born with", & well...mothers know best. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask via the contact information provided! I am what they would call "an open book", so feel free to read me.
