I have been babysitting and nannying for the past ~8 years-- and my love of children has only grown during that time! I am naturally patient and calm, with a genuine excitement for helping children learn and grow. I worked in a preschool (primarily in the infant and 2 year old classrooms) for a year, which expanded my repertoire of fun activities, projects, and games for kids. My current graduate research focuses on young children's social and emotional growth; as a sitter, I love the opportunity to use this knowledge to help children feel safe, supported, encouraged, and happy.
