My name is Ricky Gonzales, I'm 19 and a Junior at Chico State. I'm home for the summer looking for a side job where I can make money and put it towards my semester studying abroad in Spain in the spring. I have 2 younger siblings of ages 7 and 12, so i am very familiar with children and get along with them very well. I have a very open-mind and fun personality that children love. I've also played for the Davis Legacy Soccer Club for 7 years. This being said, I am active and can assure that I can keep up with your children. Being captain of both my club and Davis High School team is something I take pride in. It shows my peers that I am a leader and a role model, which is something I am always aspiring to be. I spent a lot of my Read more time in high school volunteering for organizations such as PETCO, Meals on Wheels, and The Davis Senior Center, and The Davis Odd Fellows. Although I do not have a whole lot of experience being a full-time babysitter. I do have an above average experience of being surrounded by kids. I occasionally babysit for the children on my block, and have gained an immense amount of trust in the parents for whom I've watched their kids. I am a coach for the Soccer camps that the Davis Legacy puts on in the summer and have learned a lot about the kids their. I was also a peer tutor of North Davis Elementary for a 5th grade class. Spending a full year in a classroom with10-11 year olds helped me learn to adapt to their needs. And helped me become the best peer tutor for them that I could be.
