Meet Jennifer

  • Comfortable with pets

My name is Jennifer Ha and I am an undergraduate at UC Davis. I am from Sacramento, and I am the middle child of two sisters. Being the middle child means that I've learned and had a role model on how to be a "good sibling" from my older sister. But being a middle child also means I have the responsibility of taking care of my younger sister. Not only do I have experience with children from my own siblings, but from family members, friends, and neighbors that have depended on me to care for their children. I started babysitting when I was 15 years old. I used to babysit my neighbor's children and pets. I held the responsibility of bathing, feeding, and entertaining them for several hours. Not only do I have experience in babysitting, but I have held other responsibilities such as being a waitress in a care Read more home, also had a job in the food industry. Overall, I have experience in all sorts of environments which have given me many skills and lessons that I have cherished and has helped me develop into a responsible, care-giving adult. I became a caregiver because it gives me an insight on how to gain responsibility, especially in the hands of another individual. Also, my personality involves being very interactive and being around others for companionship. I love being around others, in all age groups because it gives me an insight of who someone is, and it's a great way to not only build friendships but knowledge. I'd be a great care provider because I have had several years of experience of babysitting, and I am capable of holding a significant amount of responsibility and expectations.
