Hi, I am a 22 year old grad school student at the University of Memphis and am going for speech pathology . I have been babysitting since I was 12 when my little brother was born. He even used to call me his "other mom". I nannied two 7 year olds and 2 ten year olds for two summers in a row. I drove the children to their various activities as well as planned fun events and activities for us to do together. I also planned and cooked lunches each day. I have worked in a kindergarten classroom in a town near my college in Minnesota for three years. I enjoyed assisting the students with math, reading and writing. One summer I was the lead toddler teacher at a daycare in Wisconsin. I took care of four to eight 18 month old children at a time. I lead classroom activities Read more that were fun and educational for the toddlers. I also helped them with meals, changed diapers, played games, walked them in the stroller and communicated with the parents about their children. In order to do this, I took three classes: Child Development I & II and Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care. Working with children of all ages is my passion and they make me look forward to going to work everyday. I am also CPR certified.
