My name is Rubi. I am a recent college graduate from California State University, San Bernardino with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Through my educational journey I took courses such as Developmental Psychology (main focus was child development), and Socialization (focused on the way children are socialized, positive and negative reinforcement theories, parenting styles, and consequences of child abuse). I am a loving aunt to 4 amazing children: 10 year old and 2 year old girls, and 3 year old and 8 year old boys. My experience babysitting children comes from taking care of my nieces and nephews on a regular basis since they were born. I have learned that all children have a unique personality and it is important to understand each child and meet their needs on an individual basis.
