Although I have not have much experience babysitting, I make up for it in compassion and a love for caring for others. I especially love being in settings where I can help others learn, and what better place is that than with children, who so naturally seek to learn from the world around them! I babysat back in high school, but I stopped during college. I absolutely love being outside, and I was a wilderness first responder and whitewater raft guide in college. I also just took an EMT course last semester (so I'm also BLS for Healthcare Providers certified), and now I'm taking some time off before I go to medical school. I took art lessons from elementary school through high school, and I love completing arts and crafts projects. I don't drink, smoke, or do any other drugs, and I'm very active, so I can keep up with Read more kids. I'd prefer to work with a family that is comfortable with me taking the children on walks, to parks, to the beach, etc. I have my own car, and most people I know would say I'm one of the safest drivers they know, if not the safest. As I mentioned above, I love teaching, and I have tutored students before, so I would be more than happy to patiently work through homework or play learning games with your children. Regarding pets, I have two dogs and a cat myself, so I am happy to help care for your pets as well. Finally, I have the deepest respect for parents and their wishes, so I will make sure I follow your guidelines. If any of this sounds like what you are interested in, please do not hesitate to message me!
