Being a Mom and grandmother has been the highlight of my very creative and terrific life. It's always been family first for me. Though my two grandsons and one granddaughter are now teens, I still keep their bag of dress-up clothes to remind me of all the hours we spent playing make-believe, writing and performing plays, and making crafts together. These days we love to play games, swim and have sleepovers at my house. When she was little, my granddaughter used to tell me, "you're silly, DD!" And because I love to laugh, I often am. I am also patient, calm, competent, flexible, dependable, experienced, and most importantly, I love children. I have been a business owner in much of my adult life, partners with my wonderful husband in a graphic design firm. I am a writer, designer, and competent project manager, though my favorite moments involve family and children.
