Hi! My name is Helen. I'm currently a college student at NYU studying English Education with a minor in Global and Urban Ed looking to be a middle school english teacher post-graduation. I love reading, writing, piano (I've played for 12 years!), singing, theater, and exploring the city. I'm originally from California but am planning on staying in New York after gradation. Previously I've been a babysitter for many family friends, and for my 2 younger siblings. I also worked at a learning center with 3-5 year olds for about a year and a half working with kids on developing their reading and math skills. I have experience with kids with disabilities as my sister has Down syndrome, and I have spent time working with her and her friends at Special Olympics and a special needs youth group.
