I have ten plus years of experience working with children in various educational and care-taking settings. While completing my undergraduate degree, I worked as a nanny for multiple families in the South Bay and worked as a tutor with children ages 2-6 to develop their fine-motor skills and prepare them for success in the classroom. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2007 with my degree in Education coupled with my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. After graduating from LMU, I moved to Australia where I taught grades 1, 3 and 4 at an elementary school in Sydney. I am extremely patient with children and am great at blending fun activities with educational opportunities. I currently work as an Admissions Counselor at a graduate school and have dedicated my career to the field of education. I am returning to school at Long Beach State to pursue my Master's in Speech Pathology Read more and am looking for part-time employment. I eventually plan to work as a Speech Pathologist at an Elementary School and feel that it would be beneficial to continue working with school-aged children. At age 29, I have friends with children and understand the importance of hiring a trustworthy and reliable care-taker for your child/children.
