I'm 21 and a recent graduate from UC Santa Cruz. After spending three years Santa Cruz, I'm looking for small jobs while relocating closer to my grandma in Elk Grove. I have worked in various capacities, starting with assisting in the care of my younger sister and grandpa growing up, then babysitting and tutoring various groups of kids ranging from 5-12 for church groups. While studying Sociology and Education at UCSC, I've spent a year as a Director of a NGO, Community Aid and Resources, to put on clinics for locals experiencing chronic homelessness. I've spent 35 hours as a formal volunteer for a Pre-K/Kindergarten at Westlake Elementary for my Education Minor, of which I had to complete a Livescan and FBI background check. Working at the Disability Resource Center on campus, I've also worked in various capacities as a personal assistant for a transfer student with a son and Read more visual impairment. Outside of my babysitting experience, I've spent 6 months on exchange abroad at University College Utrecht, Netherlands. In my spare time, I enjoy making pottery through my small commission based shop, Pots in a Pinch, riding my bike, playing guitar, collecting cameras, traveling, reading, and drinking coffee. Every Fall for the past three years, I've also been returning to Elk Grove to volunteer as a Studio Assistant for the Franklin High School Visual and Performing Arts Department.
