Hi! My name is Lauren Drinhaus and I would love to be your babysitter/nanny! I am 21 years old and live in Encinitas, California. I am currently attending business school at Cal State San Marcos. Just to provide a little background about myself, I am a very personable and responsible person who grew up in Temecula, CA. I was a nanny for two families in Deluz, California. The Abshires had two children, ages 3 and 6 that I nannied for 2 years, and the Storkinsons, who had two children, ages 4, and 8, who I nannied for 4 years. I love kids and am a very outgoing person that is able to deal well with circumstances that require me to think fast and react accordingly. As a nanny I was required to stay focused to the kids at all times. I played with them, made up games, helped them with Read more homework, read them bed time stories, did laundry, cooked meals, cleaned the house, took them to and from school, to afternoon activities, and to the beach for surf lessons. I also have recent experience babysitting two year old twins. This summer, 2014, I nannied 40 hours a week for a 2 month old infant. I had to leave my full time position in pursuit of my college career when she was 6 months old but wish that I could still be with her full time. She is currently in day care and I still babysit her regularly. I had not had previous experience with infants but it was one of the best experiences for me as I learned and acquired a lot. While caring for the infant and dog, I also did the house work. Any thing from cleaning spit rags and floors to dishes and laundry, I did it. I formed a special bond with the infant and her parents and can now say I am completely comfortable and capable around small children. I am CPR certified and have spent plenty of time in the operating room and the emergency room in pursuit of my career as an orthopedic representative. I also had originally pursued an education in nursing. My experiences have allotted me with a lot of medical knowledge that I know would come in handy in regard to a small child. I have a clean record, and a clean lifestyle. My driving record is also good. I also have my own car and insurance. I am extremely responsible and have lived on my own for 4 years now. I would love to be a nanny for your child and hope that you will consider me!
