For 17 years, I was a stay at-home-mom to 4 great kids. They are now 15-1/2, 17, 18-1/2 and 20. I also homeschooled them, the older 2 through 12th grade and the younger 2 through 8th grade. My oldest daughter is currently a junior at UC Davis studying geology and the 18 year old is taking her general education courses at our local community college, the 2 younger children are attending a private school where they are thriving. I truly felt honored to have the opportunity to be able to watch my kids grow and learn. I absolutely adore kids of all ages but definitely have an affinity for young children and infants. I love to cook and bake and have a large arsenal of recipes that are kid-friendly, allowing them to get involved up to their elbows. In addition to all of the above, I did all of the bookkeping for my husband's contracting business and I worked for 3-1/2 years in a commercial kitchen as a cook for a natural food store. I am very comfortable in preparing healthy yummy food and accommodating various special needs diets such as gluten free, vegan and vegetarian.

We hired Kristye as immediate help for our family's transition to the area- she was immeasurably helpful in getting us situated with our new move. Kristye is very kind and loving and absolutely adored our babies (which we really appreciated). She cooked for them and helped me with laundry and running errands while they napped. She is patient, calm, and mature. Unfortunately our plans changed and we no longer are able to have as much child care this summer as we originally expected, but I can attest that any family would be lucky to have Kristye as a caregiver for their little ones.
