I have been a nanny for 3 years and enjoy it so much I consider it a career for me. I am a mother of five children, boys and girls ages 15 to 22, all great kids; four are in college now. I have found that my many years of experience as a mother of 5 have served me well as a nanny. It's given me infinite patience, strong communication skills and taught me lots of fun and silly games to play with children. I have a deep understanding now of the different phases/ages of children and where they are developmentally, how to engage children at all ages and how to juggle multiple children. I'm loving, fun, intuitive, cheerful, personable and outgoing and consistent with applying your house rules. I am playful, love to sing silly songs to teach things, goofy and energetic. I own a Toyota Sienna minivan with a spotless driving record of no tickets nor accidents. I have a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering and speak some Spanish. English is my first language as I was born and raised in Oregon. I have excellent references; from my former family I nannied for with 3 children, ages 6, 8 and 10. The 10 year old boy has autism, ADHD and other neuro-behvioral challenges. Also an excellent reference for the mother I work for in the afternoons as a mother's assistant/nanny for her 2 year old boy. I've been with this family for almost a year.
