I am an older sister to two younger siblings of whom which I have babysat my entire life. I have babysat family friends children in the past and have a true love for child care. I am currently a 2nd year student at Diablo Valley college and am applying to UC Berkeley this fall with a major in legal studies. I maintain a 4.0 gpa while overseeing my school's honor society as secretary and working two jobs. I am a barista at my campuses Peet’s coffee shop as well as a police aide at the campus police station. Though I love my job at Peet's, I am looking for a job which both works with my schedule and can supply me with appropriate pay for my hard work. In addition to my paid work experience, I have interned with the office of Assemblymember Jim Frazier and the Solano County District Read more Attorney's office. In addition to this, I also participated in the political campaign for the current district attorney, Diana Becton. So how does this all relate to child care? I believe all of my activities and accomplishments exemplify that I am a hard worker who is determined to excel at any given task. With this being said, when it comes to child care no forced effort is required as my passion for it stems from my love of my younger siblings.
