Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a 20 year old college student in Fremont, CA. I will have my AA in Early Childhood Education at the end of the 2015 school year, which I am very excited about! I have a few part time jobs, and all 3 of them have to do with children. One is for a company called Aspiraent, where I work with children with developmental disabilities (such as Autism). The other is a baby sitter on week day mornings, followed by dropping the brother and sister (12&8) off at school. I watch these children during breaks from school (winter, summer). I also babysit another brother and sister occassionally (8&5) if I am available when mom needs. I also work for a respite care company on the weekends. I am looking for babysitting jobs to take the place of this job possibly, I've been thinking about Read more doing so for a while. I volunteer at my church sometimes to work with the youth, and I have had a few internships at 2 different preschools. I like to do activitites that the children like to do, seeing as how that will keep them entertained rather than boring them with activities they dislike. I've been babysitting ever since I was in about 7th grade, so I've had my share of different experiences. I believe that it's possible to be a person children love to be around, while also being a responsible person entrusted to care for them.
