My experience growing up of taking care of children includes me taking care of my siblings as well as my aunt’s baby since at the time both my mother and aunt were single mothers. I have worked with a program for Stanislaus County that allows teens to become camp counselors for 5th-6 graders and with that experience I was able to learn a lot within children like the needed attention some kids like as well as the right interaction to gain trust with the kid. I have worked with children with disabilities In the past within that program so any special accommodations will be nothing new to me . I do have a letter of reccomendation from the program stating how I did based on what the kids told them . A little about myself I grew up with two other younger siblings and for the majority of the time Read more my mother was single so for a big part of my life from age 7-14 I had to step up and take care of my siblings. Academically I didn’t have an issue with school and I ended up graduating from Central Valley High School in Ceres, California with a 3.63 GPA . I am really good with animals including dogs , I myself have two back home in Ceres and they’re both chihuahua’s named Layla and Charlie . I previously was a three sport athlete that competed in Track and Field , Cross-Country and Basketball so I can work really well with kids that love playing outside or being outside in general . I am currently attending Fresno State with my major being Business and Marketing in hopes that I can become a marketing manager . I am apart of the Track and Field Team so there will be some days that will not workout but I will give an update ahead of time with a day or two that I can’t work . Said with that my previous experience working as a bagger I have proven that I am committed and responsible when it comes to work with rarely missing a day or calling in . I understand I don’t have any certifications but If I do have people with interest I will participate in getting my CPR certificate as well as receive more formal training . I’d be very interested in participating in an interview to show who I really am and I’d be happy to go through any background checks or go through any questions that will assure you I am the right one for you and your children!
