Hi! My name is Mary and I am a 20 year old student, currently attending Cal State Fullerton. I am also a babysitter that can take care of children from infants to grade school children. I am the middle child of three boys, and whenever my eldest brother had a sports tournament over the weekend I stayed home with my infant baby brother and this is where I first started gaining experience, from this I learned from an early age about doing things like feeding and burping on time, and most of all being patient with a young one. I also used to babysit the children of my aunts and uncles and when I did this I loved doing crafts like puzzle papers and playing board games! I also loved playing school and even creating tiny little worksheets for each of the toddlers. On top of that, I used to Read more tutor a special-needs child in English and Math so I can also definitely help with your child's homework for any subject. Lastly, I love sports AND the outdoor activities! My Experience: I've coached basketball teams for 7 years during the winter and summer seasons since I was 15. These kids ranged from Kinder-5th grade. I fell in love with the idea of teaching kids when I would coach these kids and show them what needed improvement with there basketball skills only to see them apply it right away. From then on I babysat for a few years, toddlers and infants mostly and this is where I learned how to keep children entertained and having fun while also keeping the house moderately clean or even getting the kids involved in cleaning! (e.g. making it a competition when playtime is over)
