I began caregiving at the age of 7, when my baby sister was born. I would feed, change, and tend to her needs while my parents worked. Once in high school, I began coaching middle school cheerleading for upwards of 30 girls. This required me to be both CPR certified as well as stunt and safety certified. While coaching, I did various babysitting jobs as a VBS (Vacation Bible School) leader for kinder-5th grade and began an elementary cheerleading squad. All of this was intermingled with volunteer tutoring jobs and serving as a dance choreographer for 1st-5th grades. This lasted for 7 years until most recently, when I graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Accounting. Currently, I am studying to become a CPA while preparing for my wedding in the summer. My love for children has grown over the years and, as I am no longer able to coach Read more or lead in the various ways I have in the past, it is my desire to help families in the Goleta and Santa Barbara areas with their little ones in any way that I can.
