I'm a third year psych/education major at UCSB looking for work that suits me and my passions! I have been babysitting for 8 years for neighbors, family friends, and my younger brother whom is 7, so I've been helping care for him his whole life. I started babysitting for date nights, as a helper while mom went shopping, gardened, etc. I have experience including diaper changing, assisting in the process of potty training, dress-up, dancing, singing, puzzles, baking (real or pretend), and homework help for the school-aged littles! I am also an excellent swing-pusher if your child liked trips to the park. I am proficient in heating up dinner, or am a decent cook with a list provided of allergies and likes and dislikes. I really find nothing rewarded in working in retail or the restaurant business, and figure I would put my adoration and interest in helping some families Read more out, hopefully forming long-term bonds with the children and family! I am comfortable sitting 3 kids, but no more as I've learned 1 vs. 4 is just enough for them to out-vote me and, frankly, nobody wants the kids in charge.
