While my only experience exclusively 'babysitting' is when I have looked after my little brother, I do have knowledge and experience interacting with children and engaging with them. I know how to keep them busy in fun ways that get them away from simply watching television all day long, such as projects and games that get them moving and active. I am good at cooking if needed. I have an associates degree in Elementary Teaching Preparation, and am working towards being a high school science teacher. I have taken multiple child development classes and am well aware of what kiddos need to be happy and taken care of. I have also grown up with both cats and dogs, so household pets are something I welcome and I am more than happy to petsit as well! I have very minimal experience helping my neighbor from time to time with her special Read more needs son. I have helped keep him entertained and with repositioning him as he has problems with his mobility.
