Hi my name is Samantha. I'm 25 years old, and I love to interact and care for children. As a young teen I babysat very often for family members and family friends. I have many years of experience, when it comes to taking care of infants and young children. I have two children of my own. The eldest is 8 almost 9 years old, and my youngest is 3 years old. I was a nanny for a family for 3 almost 4 years. I cared for a little girl who was 6 months old at the time I started. I luckily was able to bring my daughter to work with me (at the time my daughter was 2 years old). Sofia and my daughter got along great, they acted like sisters. I really enjoyed doing arts and crafts with them, reading, singing and dancing. I also loved taking them to Read more the park and outdoors on hikes. We really had fun every where we went. I enjoyed caring for Sofia because I got to see her grow and develop rapidly (since I started when she was still a baby). It felt like I had two children and they were so great together. I stopped working for this family because I got pregnant with my son and Sofia was starting preschool. I worked through almost all my pregnancy, and it was hard for me to leave, but I just couldn't work anymore. Physically it was getting hard on me. Sofia will always hold a special place in my heart. I grew a close attachment to her and her family. I still keep in contact with her family, and I send birthday cards and pictures on special occasions and vise versa. I hope to be able to care for more children, the way I take care of my own, and the way I cared for Sofia. I am compassionate, patient, and very responsible. I have 3 ECE untis completed. If the next family I work for would like for me to take more ECE units, I would gladly take more, at the parent's expense. I am CPR certified. I have a valid drivers license and my own car. I would prefer to use a car provided to me by the parent's because I commute from Hayward; but if I need to use my car I will. I take my job seriously and I also know how to have lots of fun and enjoy being with the child I'm caring for. Thank you for your time.
