Hello! My name is Kathleen and I have about 7 years of childcare experience. My first time working with kids was when I worked in a church nursery for a couple of years in my home town, then I was a nanny here in Los Angeles for one family over about three years, and then I moved to doing more occasional "date night" babysitting. I have experience babysitting a variety of ages, including toddlers. My favorite part of babysitting is seeing the joyful way that kids look at the world. :) As a babysitter, I'm kind, patient, and responsible. I like playing all kinds of games with kids, reading stories, doing crafts-- I usually see what each child is interested and engage them in that. As far as my education, I have a BA from UCSB, where I majored in Dramatic Art and minored in Music. During the day, I Read more work as a freelance writer for businesses. So, I'm mostly interested in more occasional babysitting. Though, I can be available for babysitting during the day because I make my own work schedule. And I would be open to a regular, part-time babysitting job if it were the right fit. A fun fact about me is that I'm in an all-female, post-collegiate a cappella group! :)
