Ever since I was a young child, I took a liking to young children. This mostly began at my younger brother's school when I would go with my mother to pick up my brother and she would volunteer. I also found myself wanting to help the children with their homework, reading to them and playing games. My last employer I worked with in the past at her boutique, and she then took a leave in order to spend time with her newborn. Being that she was very familiar with me and my work, she knew that I enjoyed working with kids and asked if I would assist her in the capacity of assisting her with babysitting her 2 children (planning indoor/outdoor activities, light meal preparation, teaching basic math and language, and running errands as needed). In addition to enjoying babysitting, I wanted to return to school and receive my certificate Read more as a Teacher's Aide, which I completed in September 2014.
