Hello, my name is Joi'e Lee Brack. I'm 24 years old and currently back in school to earn my degree in paralegal studies. I have a BA in psychology from Roger Williams University. I have lots of care taking experience with children aged 6mths-12 years old. I am a firm believer in clean eating and its positive effect on the human brain. I would be more than happy to introduce clean eating to your family, but of course understand how it is to be a picky eater as I was one myself as a child. I am first aid/infant-toddler CPR certified with the American Red Cross Association, as well as having obtained a lifeguarding certification as an adolescent. I am comfortable with pets of all sizes, however I think feeding the family snake would prove a little bit intimidating. As a nanny, I feel as though there are certain things Read more that are to be expected; Patience, compassion, the ability to make a really cool pillow fort, and the willingness to teach and be taught are requirements of a job like such. A willingness to teach and be taught is most important to me. I have learned so many wonderful things I still carry with myself today from past little friends I've looked after. Children teach us so much and are blank pages waiting to be taught the importance of honesty, justice (there will be an apology made, a hug had and an explanation given and received after every argument), and the value of consideration amongst others. Past experiences have included caring for a physically handicapped toddler. Being said, I actively participated in his early intervention classes, as well as took initiative to continue those practices at home. Also, during this time i gained the knowledge and experience in the care and keeping of medical devices such as a G-Tube, pulse oximeter, EnteraLite feeding tube pump, along with daily physical therapy and mobility training.

I had been talking with Joie for 7 days and had an interview, she then decided 1 hour before the interview that she got another job that's not even close to being a nanny. I was on my way to meeting her then I get a text. I had expressed to her how important it was I had a nanny by Monday. We discussed this job she took, as she said she wasn't going to take it. Now she wants more money. Before it was $15 an hour now it's up to $30 that's insane. Must be a therapist and a pediatrician at that rate for one baby. I'm a single dad with having my son full time and the stress now this girl has put on me isn't right. The young people of today just don't have any consideration for anyone but themselves. I highly suggest not hiring this girl. As she is unfit to be a caretaker.
