Hello, My name is Nicole, I am 28 years old going through a career change! I have been working with the elderly for a few years, as a caregiver and now as an Activity Director. However, during my time in activities I've realized how much I love teaching and helping people build off their skills and strengths. I decided I would love to do that for kids as a teacher to truly focus on a person's abilities and growth. With that said, I am enrolling into online Masters programs for Teaching. I have a Bachelors in psychology, and I got into caregiving because I really have a heart to help people and truly care some a person's wellbeing. I have a few years experience with children as well. For a year and a half I was in a childrens ministry at church, caring for parent's children as they went to Read more church service. The children we watched were between a year and year and a half old. We played with them, gave them snack, changed their diapers, laid them down for naps, and of course took great care in looking over them while their parents were away. I also volunteered as an arts and crafts instructor for 2 summers at the same church teaching elementary aged children different crafts. I instructed a class of nearly 18 kids and taught them the way a teacher would their students. As a babysitter, I am eager to work with kids in every aspect of their personalities and growth! I see babysitting as an opportunity to help you, the parent, and also your child to have fun, learn, and be creative while in my care. I am an outgoing person who enjoys being social. I love being outdoors to go on walks, be at the park, go to the beach, go on hikes, or just spend time in the backyard on a nice day. I am patient, kind, understanding, slow to speak and eager to listen. Some of my other hobbies include arts and crafts (I'm a big fan of DIY), watching movies, listening to music, bike riding, yoga, drawing, and volunteering.
