Hello :) My name is Casandra Phillips and I just moved back home to Los Angeles. I just graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with my B.A. and I will be attending USC in the Fall to pursue a graduate degree in Social Work. I have always been interested in working with children and I have practiced working with many different ages through a few programs. While in high school I volunteered at a summer camp called Camp Axios and became a counselor for kids between 8-12 years old. Throughout the past few Summers, I have also worked in a classroom with children between the ages of 3-5 years at a school called St. Cecilia. Apart from the summer, I have also worked at a camp during my spring breaks that works with children that have special needs and disabilities. Throughout all this experience with other programs in Read more between breaks, I have also babysat for many families in the Santa Barbara area within my 4 years of college. I have worked with kids between the ages of 18 months- 16 years of age. Currently, I am also employed as a Respite Care worker with a company called BRIA. I do respite care, speech therapy, and behavior therapy with children who have been diagnosed with autism or down syndrome.
