Hello! I am a 24-year-old female who is currently in graduate school at Dominican university in Marin county. I am in graduate school working to obtain my Masters of Science in Special Education. I also work as a Behavior Therapist in San Francisco during the week days in the afternoon and evenings. I have my mornings open so I am looking for a morning/early afternoon nanny job. I am also available occasionally on the weekends. I have babysat for many families for over 10 years and I was a part time nanny in college for two families. I was a full time nanny over this past summer in Boston, MA. I have great references if desired. I was also a behavior therapist part time in college and I volunteered and interned with children a lot during college. My mom owns a daycare out of our house so I have worked Read more and helped with her since I was young and still do help her when I have time. I have babysat children of all ages from 3 months old through teen years. I also have a big family with a lot of little children so I have experience with infants and young children through my own family as well. I love playing outdoors and doing arts and crafts. I am very tidy. I love playing sports and I am very creative as well. I am CPR and First Aid trained. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you! Sarah

Sarah was going to fill a big gap in my babysitting needs for a month between my former sitter's graduation and the end of the school year for my children. She was very enthusiastic about the position over the course of a few weeks as we went back and forth discussing details. However, she suddenly disappeared with no explanation after I asked her if I could pay for a background check. After she disappeared I wrote her three times on sittercity (which she was still logging into), sent her one text, and sent her an email. No response. This behavior is irresponsible and disrespectful, qualities I would never want in someone caring for my children. Also, why did she disappear after I requested a background check??
