Hi my name is Chelsea and I received my Psychology degree at UCSD in 2016. I am a Teach for America San Diego Alum and currently teach 6th graders ELA at a middle school in downtown San Diego. As much as I love my students, I have missed playing and learning with the smaller age groups due to all the amazing experiences I've had with infants - 7-year-olds. I have worked with the summer day camp at Birch Aquarium in La Jolla working with 4-7-year-olds following lesson plans, leading story time, going over crafts, and much more. I have also worked at Gymboree Play & Music in Solana Beach. While there I facilitated stimulating and developmentally appropriate opportunities for infants, toddlers, and young children to learn through play with their caregivers all the while singing in a pleasant and tuneful voice and delivering a high quality play experience.
