Hello Parents, my name is Biftuu and I am 25 years old. I have lived in California for almost two years now. Since I moved here, I've been a nanny/babysitter to many loving families with new born and infants to school age children. I lived in Ohio prior and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I left behind all of my family and friends, which is a pretty large group. I come from a family of 9 other siblings, and I was mommies little helper. I loved babysitting and helping my little brother and sisters with everything they needed. I was changing diapers at the age of 10! The older I got, the more I enjoyed it. I learned that children come into the world with a fresh new mind and I wanted to help make a difference in their growing life. I started volunteering at Read more my community library during the summer, working as a tutor and reading program. Then in high school I volunteered as a teachers aid, starting from pre-k to middle school. As a nanny, you have the ability to shape their small minds and establish lifelong habits, such as manners and organizational skills, that will aid them in succeeding as adults. At the same time, having a beautiful childhood with many laughs, creativity and love. My family and the community I have grown in, has shown me that my purpose in life was to work with children. Working as a nanny gives you the ability to do just that. But the bonus of working as a personal nanny as opposed to temporary babysitter or a childcare worker in a day care center is you have the ability to focus on a small number of children and truly get to know them.
