I started babysitting at a young age with kids 2-6. As a creative and inquisitive individual, it goes without being said that kids and I get along. Our high energy and genuine fervor for life and exploration connect us in ways that both of us learn and grow from every interaction. There is almost always a game to play, activity to do, or something to learn somewhere! I recently said goodbye to a loving family in Florida who gave me the opportunity to take care of their charismatic, bright 7 year old with disabilities and charming whippersnapper of an 11 year old. I tutored them both in their respective studies and smiled with pride when they brought home improved grades and toothy grins. Every day was filled with walks to the park, playing instruments with the pets, or impromptu dance parties. Later, the time is spent cleaning the dance parties (dancing dogs and kids make a lot of mess). Each day they danced their way into my heart... and your kids can too! Everyone wants to leave their kids in the care of someone who will respect their parenting wishes and treat them with the same amount of love as they would. I am CPR certified and have experience with animals. (I love animals and was a pet sitter). When you're away, I like to make life as easy as possible for you! I will clean what I can, and encourage the children to have better responsibility of their own mess. "What you take out, you must put back".
