Much like a lot of girls, I started baby sitting when I was 14 years old and did so for family friends for years after. I had a regular job of baby sitting a preteen every weekend for a couple of years. My experience also extends to children ages 0 months and up. To earn community service hours in high school, I assisted the childcare provider at my church with all of her duties. I learned that if a child falls or gets hurt, DO NOT FREAK OUT. This will cause the little one to become scared, potentially escalating the situation. Kids play rough and tumble. It's what they do. 90% of the time, he or she is just fine. I took First Aid and CPR in 2009-2010 (Freshman year) at Helix Charter High School, so in the case of emergency, I will know what to do. I can assist Read more with homework, chores, and am told by many that my cooking is excellent. And, if you need your pets taken care of too, I can do that too.
