Hello My experience as a babysitter started when I became a mom. I have taken care of kids for 8 years now. The same age that my son has. I love kids and I enjoy taken care of them, especially infants. When I decided to become a stay at home mom, I discovered a world that was beyond my knowledge. I left behind my career but, I started to learn and experienced all the things that little minds have to learn, and how fast they can accomplish those milestones. I did find that there are some challenges too. My son had a speech delay and he was in therapy for 3 years. He is perfectly fine now. I have to say that my knowledge of Psychology was a big help in understanding that something was not totally right with my son’s speech milestones. Learning has been always my passion. Once Read more I resigned to my job, my son and I were very active learners because I wanted him to experience that. We enrolled in all kind of activities: “Mommy and Me” class, music classes, art classes, gymnastic classes, etc. We participated in different groups and events. Once he reached pre- school years, I started to volunteer at his school, especially when he started kindergarten, and during the last couple of years in first in second grade. I have taught the kids Spanish (I am fully bilingual, actually Spanish is my first language). I can assure you that your baby will be in the best hands. The parents that I have worked for before can tell you that.
