Hi Parents! I am a recent UCLA graduate with degrees in Environmental Studies and International Development. I have decided to take some time off between undergrad and graduate school to be near my family. During this time I will be working as a substitute teacher because I really enjoy working with children! They are such a joy to be around and always have interesting things to say. I began working with children in high school as a regular babysitter. For three years I worked weekly in my church's nursery with infants and toddlers. I then went on to work at the YMCA as part of the summer camp staff. During my time at UCLA I did not have much free time to babysit but now that my schedule is not as jam-packed with homework I am excited to start working with children again!
