Hello! Bonjour! ^_^ My name is Jessica. I am 26 years old and am currently going to school to acquire my degree in English. I go to Long Beach City College right now, I will then transfer to the National University to turn my A.A. into a B.A. I also am going to enroll online for the TEFL certification program at the University of Toronto. With my degree and certificate I am going to teach English abroad in different countries. I am definitely going to teach in China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, and Greece. I also plan to eventually go back to college to get a B.A. in Business Administration because my long-term goal is to have my own children's bookstore. I am not scared of any animal. I love all animals. I have one dog, a chocolate lab named Izzy, and an anti-social cat, named Athena. I've had Read more experience taking care of and handling cats, kittens, toads, snakes, dogs, puppies, rabbits, mice, rats, iguanas, and fish. I even have experience administering medicine. I used to have another dog, named Buffy, that recently passed, who had epilepsy, and she needed medicine twice a day. I also used to volunteer at the Downey Animal Shelter, where I helped mainly in the areas where they kept the sick and violent animals. I work for the Los Angeles Public Library right now part-time. I've worked for both the city of Los Angeles and Long Beach since I was 18. I have one year experience of being a nanny, and then that turned into two years of babysitting afterwards. I was a nanny to a little boy named Quentin from the time he was 4 months to about a year and a half. Up until he was about 3 1/2 years old, I babysat him 2-3 days a week for 6-9 hours per day. However, I am not currently certified.
