Hi! My name is Kate, and I recently moved to New York from Los Angeles. I am from New Orleans, where I started babysitting as a "mom's helper" when I was about 12 and continued to babysit part time through high school. I went to college at the University of North Carolina, where I had a few different babysitting jobs. I held various positions where I occasionally babysat for kids of all ages. I also held a position for 4 years tutoring a girl with ADHD and dyslexia. I worked with her from 4th grade to 8th grade. Additionally, I held a position as a nanny, working with a family with a newborn for 3 days a week until she was 3 years old. After college, I continued to occasionally babysit in LA. Now, I moved to New York to continue my career here. I am hoping to get to Read more know some people in the area while continuing to work with kids. I am good with kids of all ages. I love to cook, read, play outdoor sports, and even color. I especially have experience with homework help, infants, and twins. I do not have a car, but I am happy to bring your kids to appointments, etc via the subway or your preferred transportation method. I absolutely LOVE to cook, and would be happy to help out with meals as well. I do have a full-time career, so my hours are limited to early mornings, nights, and weekends. I live in the West Village and work on the Upper West Side - so I am especially available in those neighborhoods last minute. Please reach out if you have any questions.
