Hello! My name is Ami! I am on my way to graduate school for an advanced degree in Zoology ~Fall 2019. But first, I need to fulfill prerequisites and attain experience hours working with wildlife. I spend Sunday afternoons taking care of orphaned wildlife at the CA Wildlife Center in Malibu. I have over 10 years experience working with children. Kids love me because I still genuinely love building forts and playing outside just like them! People would describe me as: Altruistic, Gentle, Kind, Creative, Insightful and Responsible. I'm the eldest of 3 to a single parent so taking care of children comes naturally to me. Since High School, I've mostly sat toddlers and school age kids. I hold a BA in Dance from UC San Diego and have certifications in, 200 hr Bhakti Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training, 50 hr Yin/Lunar Flow Yoga Teacher Training and am a level 2 Read more Reiki Healer. I love to incorporate dance and yoga when I work with children! My artistic and creative training, coupled with my mindfulness practice, has strengthened my sensitivity, receptivity and compassion to work with children.
