Plain and simple, I adore children! Here's a little more about me; I am a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. I worked as a camp counselor every summer through high school at The West Hollywood Day Camp. This was invaluable training, as I learned many skills including psychology, organized sports/games, conflict negotiation and of course how to have and create fun with kids! My last summer there, I was promoted to work in the Tiny Tots division, which included Mommy and Me classes, and working with kids aged 4-6, who were too young to be enrolled in the regular Camp. I was a counselor/teacher at STAR camp in Westwood. I worked with 6-12 year old children and supervised groups of 20 specific aged children . I was promoted to work with Pre-K children, after taking a required Early Childhood Development & Psychology college course. I worked as Read more an au-pair in Paris, caring for 2 siblings (ages 8 and 13) for 6 months. I took them to and from school, prepared meals, helped with homework, and tutored them in English. I have also been babysitting regularly, since high school. I have a sister who is 4 years younger and I helped take care of her, growing up. Nurturing is my life! I am certified in CPR/first aid, have an excellent driving record, am proficient in French and adored by all children and their parents!
