Well for starters, i am a 23 year old big sister of 8 hyperactive, loving, creative kids ranging from 2 to college age, 4 boys and 4 girls. As you can imagine having eight siblings, i have had quite the run with caring for children, babysitting for neighbors, Coworkers and sometimes just a needing couple who might require a night out or a special event to attend. I have cared for just about every kind of child, from premie infants, toddlers with special needs, kids with behavioral issues, and kids who are just crazy outgoing. I love them all!!! Not having any of my own, caring for others' children has brought me great joy and has taught me patience and understanding, not only in dealing with children, but life in general. I believe in teaching the children in my life to lead, and never follow, to not be easily influenced, Read more to be individuals and never be afraid of who they are. The way i see it, the children that we mold today, are the children who will inevitably mold our futures. I like to initiate the creativity streak in the children that i care for through music, film, art, learning new languages and daily activities such as sports, or an outdoor game. Kids arent how they used to be, and i take pride in exhausting all of my energy and time in making sure they get back to that era of fun (with very little technology) with the use of imagination. Where i do not have a special certificate, i have taken a few CPR classes and a first aid course due to my employment at Universal Studios Hollywood. Thankfully i have never had a child (not a sibling or anyone elses) injured in my presence, and i plan on keeping that streak strong.
