My work with kids started when I was around 13 years old when I was asked to babysit my neighbor's kids. Since then, I've babysat, nannied, lifeguarded, and taught swim lessons for boys and girls ages 3+. I've also volunteered at summer camps and worked with child actors while in film school. Now that I'm living in Los Angeles, I'm hoping to find new families to babysit and nanny for. I'm patient and caring but after 6 years of lifeguarding, I'm also capable of disciplining when necessary. Just like at the pool, I understand that prevention is the first step in safety. Being able to see potential dangers helps me keep kids safe and protected. I can also cook and assist with housework and homework, whatever's needed to help busy families.
